5th Grade Boomwhackers

5th grade enjoys playing boomwhackers. Here they are depicted learning the Skeleton Dance.
They strike the pitched, color-coded boomwhackers on various parts of their body.
They read the notes on the video screen as they add creative choreography.

3rd Grade Music Theory Laptop Books
3rd Grade spent the last two class periods creating their own Music Theory Resource Books.
They cut and assembled charts, graphs, and pictures which summarize terms
that they need to be able to recognize and identify.
This book will assist them in defining terms as part of music reading and playing instruments.
They can now use this resource to refer to when researching pertinent terms
 to increase their musical vocabulary.

6th & 7th Grade Hand Bells

6th and 7th grade continue to make great strides in learning new hand bell repertoire.
Here they are learning a new piece entitled Soliloquy by Michael Helman.
